One of the most popular features on the apple iphone is the internet browser. There has been many options on all types of phones for using the internet but with the iphone the joy of browsing has become quite different. For a start there is your touch screen making it easier and more accessible to go were you want online and not to mention the ease of just dragging the pages around with the touch of your finger.
For a start, familiarize yourself with the touch screen, to scroll onto a web page you need to drag your finger in the direction you wish to view, then if you wish to change the size of a selected area you can do so by dragging your fingers in or moving them apart, simple and very easy to do.
In terms of speed a lot of people complain that the internet browsing experience can be slow, if that is the case look for the most popular wifi hot spots when using or have patience as the quality of the pages you are loading will always be the best with apple. When you want to access your email it is all simply done with a tap of your touchscreen to read and again if you wish to delete or reply, spend some time becoming familiar with your keyboard and once you do it will become very easy.
You can do some quick rapid browsing by flicking through multiple pages at once all by clicking on the page number at the bottom part of the web page, then you can flip through different pages by dragging each one with your finger until you have read them all or reached your desired page.
Apple iphones really do bring a whole new meaning to the art of web browsing, start today and enjoy the experience with millions of iphone users worldwide.

By now most of you may have read about the exploding iPhones being reported around the globe. And while the iPhone is one of the preferred mobile handsets that people want to get their hands on today, it is obvious that people are now thinking twice of getting one for this “Exploding” iPhone bit.
And as always, Apple is making a statement denying that they are at fault. There is no flaw in the production process of iPhones and the real cause has been traced to the force applied on the LCD screens of the iPhones.
“The iPhones with broken glass that we have analyzed to date show that in all cases, the glass cracked due to an external force that was applied to the iPhone,” Apple said in a statement cited by the BBC.
If you’ve been having issues just like I have when trying to get a radio station in my area without clutter up your car’s dashboard, then you will love the XM SkyDock. It does not only charge iPod as any other car charger but it also has satellite tuner built in, which will make your radio experience much easier anywhere you go.
The XM SkyDock is suitable for both iPhone and iPod Touch and it also brings a pretty good free application that will allow you to transform the Apple handheld into a touch-screen control for satellite radio service when running. The application automatically adjusts to either landscape or portrait mode. You will also be able to transmit the audio to most of the standard car radios through the car electrical system, sent via line-out. And since the SkyDock works connected into the car’s 12-volt power adapter it will charge the iPod Touch/iPhone while in use.
You might also want to have in consideration that even tho
ugh the application is available on its own, it’s well known that it leaves much of best of it out. Due to right issues many of the service’s channels, such as MLB Play-by-Play, NFL Play-by-Play, Nascar Radio and Howard Stern. On the other hand since the SkyDock provides over-the-air satellite radio, it offers all of the Sirius XM catalog, including the previous mentioned stations.
Another very useful feature of the SkyDock application is the iTunes tagging, which allows the user to tag the desired song that has been played on any radio station to later be download on iTunes by only a touch of the screen. And of course you will as well be able to playback the music stored on you iPhone/iPod Touch.

Is the iPhone going to take a place within the medicine of the future?. Seems that way after the news given by Illumina this week. The CA-based biotechnology company that designs breakthrough tools for genetic analysis, announced that had not only chose the iPhone as their main communications tool due to its reliability and efficient mobile communications and applications but that their engineers had also started to develop a new and unique application for it that the Company might release into a massive market within the next few years.
The Illumina technicians haven’t only seen in the iPhone a great business device but they had also envisioned in it a new approach to personalized medicine. How? Throughout a new application, developed by the company’s engineers, the user will be able to carry along within their own phone their genomic information. This would allow the user to interact with the information and their personal doctors.
Even though the Illumina developers had never before written an iPhone application they were able to came up with this new and fully functionally prototype in less than two weeks. Once done with this prototype the company will be able to present the users with an easy and understandable application within a consumer-oriented interface.
For Illumina this new application will be the beginning of the approach to a subject that not many has access to or understanding of it but will be now possible through iPhone. For the company the ongoing change in technology is the key for the increment in communications, sharing and data management.
After much controversy and waiting, Apple’s iPhone will finally be available in China starting October. This developed after Apple and China Unicorn reached an accord regarding the authorized distribution of the popular iPhone 3G in the mainland.
News about the iPhone venturing into China broke out the past months and after many considered the effort futile, everything has been finally settled. With the deal, Apple now enters one of the biggest mobile markets known today.
Chinese users will get the iPhone 3G with 8GB for $365 with a 2-year contract and a monthly rate of $27 (minimum). The Wi-Fi function will be disabled initially but may be added in the future, along with China’s homegrown WAPI (WLAN Authentication and Privacy Infrastructure) standard.
The iPhone 3GS is expected to follow suit as soon as the first batch of iPhones are officially distributed to Chinese natives. It will be interesting to see how Dell will react to Apple’s move with its China-only smartphone “mini 3i”, which is neither priced nor dated yet.
With so many people these days being quite particular about their health and weight, all the available help they can get ranging from advice and mobile devices will be highly appreciated. And knowing the ton of people who are using the iPhone or the Blackberry smartphones, here is a handy app to have the next time you go out shopping and want to analyze the nutritional facts of certain products.
FoodGauge takes four factors into consideration: fat, carbohydrates, fiber and protein. By simply entering this information into the application from the back of any nutrition label, FoodGauge provides a numerical score, ranked from five to one, that helps you choose which foods will assist with weight loss.
Fruits, veggies and lean meats (foods that are healthy and keep you full) will rank a four or five and can be consumed relatively guilt-free. Food that scores a two or one is generally full of sugar, butters and oils (empty calories that cause you to desire more empty calories) and should be eaten sparingly.
The FoodGauge app for iPhone users is now available at the Apple iTunes store for only $0.99. For Blackberry users, it is available at the Blackberry App World for $2.99.

The new version of the iPhone 3G can also record video and audio into the compressed format, mpeg4, achieving and extreme space saving; being able to record an hour of high quality video with the result of a file as small as 60Mb.
Other enjoyable features are its playback function, the ability to transfer the files to a computer, upload the content to the online video sharing site YouTube or simply send it by email. The software also allows the user to configure important settings such as the audio input amplifier and the video size mode. Other
customizable options are the image quality, brightness and the audio bit rate, and the last but certainly not least Spy Mode Recording which allows the user to turn off the iPhone screen while recording.
These and many other features make the iPhone Video Recorder 3.0 one of the ’must have’ applications that more and more users are adding daily to their iPhones.
Genuitec, LLC, today announced the third milestone release (M3) of MobiOne; a new enterprise-class technology that enables development of smart mobile applications using Web standards. The M3 release now includes support for the popular PhoneGap application development framework for the iPhone, enabling the development of App Store-ready mobile Web and native applications.
As the mid-September release date for MobiOne version 1.0 draws closer, Genuitec has added a rich layer of functionality to its mobile development software with the inclusion of the PhoneGap framework. Now developers can create hybrid native/Web applications using the popular HTML 5, CSS3, and JavaScript Web technologies. The inclusion of PhoneGap fills the need for developers to create mobile Web applications capable of meeting App Store acceptance requirements and accessing native device services and sensors such as geolocation, contacts, accelerometer, video and sound, orientation and more.
This third milestone release of MobiOne is available for Palm Pre and iPhone development only, but will rapidly support other smartphone devices with an aggressive delivery cycle. Targeted devices include Andriod/G1, Blackberry, and possibly Nokia and other smart devices being developed. MobiOne’s extensible “TruView” emulation technology delivers the behavior of these smartphones through a pixel-perfect experience of true smartphone behaviors, not simple graphical simulations.
