We have all played the famous addictive board game battle ship at one time or another, for those who are new to it however you are in for it treat, it works like this, two players select area’s to place their hidden ships the other player then has to guess where these are located, the first player to sink all the others ships wins the game. Now, this classic game has come to the iPhone and iPod touch.
The iBattleships for iPhone works like this, you open the application where you then have the choice to play against the iPhone or if you would rather another person over wifi. Its then the same way you play as a kid except it all works with the interface, you place the ships by using the trackball control on the screen, this is easy to use. The trackball is also used when selecting which square you want to fire at, when you have selected your choice you then tap to fire and your away. A sound will then notify you if you have had a hit or miss.
The graphics and sound effects are very appealing, its nice to hear them accompany your actions, its what we all wanted when we played the board game version so its great to see it brought to life now on such an appealing screen and format. iBattleship is available for purchase now so get it fast and prepare to be addicted once more with another classic game brought to the screen!
