Apple Removes WiFi Detector App from App Store

Apple is at it again. Known for its controversial approval and removal of iPhone apps over at the iTunes app store, the WiFi Detector app has been removed without any explanation or apology. Now that was quite below the belt considering it was initially approved and taken out without any reason.
Apple has declined to tell developers what rules scanning applications are actually breaking which leaves a bad taste in the mouth. Well if they keep this up, they may end up with developers shifting their focus on providing new apps for another platform. Something like Android-based phones over at the Android Market. Well Apple doesn’t seem to care anyway.
