Micromedics Inc, a medical device manufacturer and exhibitor at the Combined Otolaryngology Spring Meeting (COSM) in Las Vegas will be featuring the new DizzyFIX MD iPhone app at their booth #509 in the Bally’s Event Center during the meeting. Developed by Clearwater Clinical of Canada, the “DizzyFIX” iPhone app will give doctors the ability to treat a medical condition with a cell phone – for the first time.
The new iPhone app specifically treats Vertigo caused by BPPV (Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo). This problem affects about 1 out of 10 people over the age of 60 and can be debilitating for those who have it. BPPV is caused by the movement of calcium crystals known as Otoconia to other parts of the ear. This movement of Otoconia eventually results in the sensation of vertigo.
Tripware, the behavior-based travel solution for business travelers, has released a mobile travel app that lets business travelers’ book flights, hotels, and cars faster and simpler than any other travel app. The travel app, MoBook, benefits travelers because once their profile is completed all they need to do is to enter a destination and touch “book” on their iPhone or iPad; there is no need to surf the mobile web or use multiple travel apps.
To get Tripware MoBook, travelers simply sign up for free at the company’s website, http://www.tripware.com, and follow the prompts to the iTunes store. Tripware MoBook is currently compatible with the iPhone and iPad. Tripware has plans to offer MoBook on additional mobile platforms later this year.

When receiving email messages with attachments (Word, Excel, or PDF files) represented by the paperclip icon, the attachment may not be displayed when the message is opened. Instead, a plain text version of the message is received and contains an attachment named Winmail.dat that cannot be viewed or opened.
Resolution
This happens when the email message is composed in RTF (Rich Text Format) with attachments. To display the attachment properly on an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, have the sender compose the email message in either plain text or HTML. The Apple iPhone has been fixed for good with the release of Android for iPhone.
The guys over at Linux on the iPhone have update their post with the news that Android is now running on the Apple iPhone. The blog update includes a video showing an iPhone booting and running the Android operating System.
