Denver, CO, October 07, 2011 –(PR.com)– Word puzzle enthusiasts, bring your “A” game. Spuzzle, Inc. launches a new social word game challenge in the form of Word vs Word, an app with the all-in-one link between a crossword puzzle, hangman and a word search game.

The game offers social interaction with live turn-based play and chat messaging with friends and random opponents or equally challenging solo matches. From the more than 3,500 word games available in the iTunes App Store, Word vs Word is an accumulation of all things word game players find addictive, fun and rewarding.

Word vs Word challenges players to uncover a secret word between three and eight letters. Through strategic process of elimination, intuitive selection and a little luck, the winning player reveals the secret word first and is presented with that word’s definition. As educational as it is entertaining, the app provides a social venue for learning new words and definitions.

“Word games appeal to the masses,” said Jeff Russell, President and Co-Owner of Spuzzle. “Word vs Word brings an entirely novel game to the app community that will engage people of all ages and skill levels. This game will test players, provide them with a new leisure activity, and educate them all at once.”

As a part of Apple’s App Store Volume Purchase Program, Spuzzle will allow educational institutions to purchase Word vs Word in volume and distribute it to its users.

According to Russell, the concept and idea of Word vs Word is original and unique. “There are many word game apps available for people to play from Scrabble® to Boggle®, however the history of Word vs Word stems from a family-formed game that was passed down over the last 50 years. Now, instead of playing around a table with paper-and-pencil, family and friends can play across the world by tapping-and-typing.”

Word vs Word can be played on the iPhone, iPod touch and the iPad and is available in the iTunes App Store under the Game-Word category (http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/word-vs-word/id441028725?ls=1mt=8). Future releases and versions will be introduced, including a HD

Remember TripAdvisor’s free city guide apps for Android? Well they’re bringing the same goods to the iOS users. However, instead of launching a number of apps, each dedicated to a different city, they’re out with a single application from where users can download city guides they’re interested in.

Speaking of cities, you can choose between 20 popular world destinations, including Amsterdam, Barcelona, Beijing, Berlin, Boston, Chicago, Florence, Hong Kong, Hawaii, Las Vegas, London, Los Angeles, New York City, Orlando, Paris, Rome, San Francisco, Sydney, Tokyo and Washington D.C.

Once downloaded, all city information stays on the iPhone, allowing for a quick access even if there’s no Internet connection around and helping you save some cash when travelling.

Aside from offering information on points of interest, TripAdvisor City Guides also comes with walking tours and insider tips which too can be accessed without a data connection. For instance, you’ll be able to get in-depth information on neighborhoods, history, culture, architecture, weather and transportation…

In any case – we’re talking about an app worth downloading…

Posted by admin under Apple News on Sunday Nov 27, 2011

With this program, Play N Trade intends to offer immediate gratification to customers, as well as provide a more convenient alternative to EBay. With the trade-in program, customers avoid having to deal with shipping their items and waiting for payment to arrive at a later date. Since the holiday season of gift buying is quickly approaching, the trade-in of Apple products offers another way for their customers to purchase games. Manhattan, NY, October 11, 2011 –(PR.com)– If Steve Jobs was a color or series of colors, what would he be and what would it look like?

Steve Jobs was a multi talented, multi layered personality. Even the people closest to him that thought they knew him in some ways feel like they didn’t know him. It is not their fault; he was a very complex man. On one hand he is incredibly sensitive, loving and compassionate and on another hand ferocious. How does one make sense of it?

Greg Herzog has attempted just that, through his trademarked method Color Coding DNA® with his Quantum Reaction algorithm, based on a geometric mathematical equation; where X # of points represent the makeup of the subject: Mr. Jobs where each degree of expression within the context of each point is color coded and weighted accordingly.

Violet: Sensitive
Steve was known for his uniqueness, talent, artistic merit, emotions, practicality, dreaming, idealism, pride, loyalty, compassion, and imagination. Because he had a unique angle on the world that others just didn’t see, he was also known as: hyper-sensitive, moody, secretive, impatient, stubborn, aloof, cold and quarrelsome.

Red: Represents High-spirited and Courageous
Steve is not known for restraint, both impulsive and enthusiastic, if an idea strikes him, he was the first on the bandwagon to make it reality, without stopping to think about any obstacles that may be in the way. Spontaneous and determined, he let his heart rule his head. Optimistic, and impatient, he lived for the moment, forgetting all else. He didn’t like to take no for an answer. Steve had the self-confidence to put himself out there and he wanted to make a strong impression. He took everything personally. He didn’t take any time to consider the consequences of his actions.

Light Blue: Very Opinionated
He always preferred to explore the more outlandish and far reaching ideas. Jobs liked to break the rules when expressing himself; he loved controversy and chaos, and had little respect for tradition. Intuitive by nature he could always judge a person’s character very

iPhone Baby Monitor

Posted by admin under iPad on Sunday Nov 27, 2011

So you want to use your iPhone or iPad to monitor your baby? No problem, there are several such solutions out there and here I’ll highlight one called iBabyVideo.

First of all, you should know it’s not a mobile only service that can also work with any computer if you fancy so. However, that’s not the point, as you want to access to the baby camera at all times, whether you’re sitting in the front of a computer or not.

iBabyVideo will live stream video to your iPhone from a nursery webcam. Setup is apparently pretty easy and in case you need an extra help, there are “helpful video tutorials.” Some of the cool features include:

  • Ability to start and stop the video feed at any time
  • Set audio and motion levels to record motion events
  • Receive push notifications of motion events – very cool!
  • Invite other family members to view your feed

At the moment, iBabyVideo is available for iPhone/iPod Touch and iPad users, but the Android version is in development as well…
