Pac’n-Jump Hits iOS Devices

Posted by jwrite under iPhone Accessories, iPhone Apps, iPhone News, iPhones on Friday Apr 8, 2011

There’s no great way of spending some retro filled action games being resurrected from the past 421779067-0and made available for your iPhone. One of the longstanding games of all time would be Pac-Man, the yellow circle eating blob.

There have been numerous franchise that has been spiced up with Namco’s release, and here comes Pac’n-Jump that sends this dot chomping character genre that has never been experienced before. Pac’n-Jump has send new heights introducing this 8-bit legend to the endless array of climbing genre. Instead of making your way out to the walls of traditional Pac-Man mazes, Pac’n Jump is an entirely new game that introduces wall segments as platforms that anyone can bounce and that familiar chomp master will also climb in endless heights.

Namco promises to keep the enjoyment true with plenty of yellow dots and power-ups and as well as fruit to eat and the game will never be complete without those nasty ghost masters that get in the way. This new edition holds true to the company’s goal in setting new experience to greater heights and even more excitement. Beyond the first stage, gamers can unlock an additional three other stages that immerse in Pac-Man tittles from the older 8-bit decade.

Pac’n-Jump promises to provide users three different control schemes that includes an analog stick, digital pads, and tilt. Since the game plays in portrait mode the control schemes will play an important role in achieving success. Pac’n-Jump is a universal app that can be enjoyed with an iPad, iPhone and iPod touch.

The game is quite simple. It is basically a test on who is fast on the draw (or in this case, the CLICK!). Two people need to have the app. Connect both iPhones using Bluetooth and then raise them vertically. The time counts down and the first one to shoot wins. It may not be that sophisticated but will certainly be a lot of fun for people who want some clean western style fun!
