The rumors are true and still the white iPhone 4 is nowhere to be found. We’ve been tracking the iPhone way back when it hit the headlines on June.  And now, Apple has one big announcement to make and that is the white iPhone 4 won’t be on sale until spring of 2011.

“Were sorry to disappoint customers waiting for the white iPhone yet again, but we’ve decided to delay its release until this spring.”, quoted from Apple.

The company has had difficult time making the white model of the iPhone 4. It released the black version of the smartphone in June.

The news broke just this morning that Apple had released an updated version of the iPhone. Introduced alongside the black iPhone 4 at Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference in early June, the white model was soon to be pushed back to a late July launch. But when the date approached to its futility, Apple again decided to delayed the release date to later this year seemingly giving the company plenty of time to work on issues with production of the white model.  Apparently the company still is struggling on with the white model considering it is a tough challenge to meet customer demands and satisfaction.

The delays however are still not confirmed by Apple saying that the device proved to be “more challenging to manufacture than expected.” Other rumors that have surface out have point to issues with color matching between the device’s body and home button or the light from the backlight leaking around.
