A UK courier has confirmed that there would be no white Iphone in the Uk until the end of the year. Apple has also issued a statement on the white iphone saying it would be delayed until later this year.
“We wanted to let you know that there won’t be any white iPhone 4’s in the UK until the end of the year. If you’re happy to wait another few months we’ll let you know as soon as they’re back in stock. Want an iPhone 4 now?”
Alternatively, if you want it now, click here or visit your local Orange shop to get the iPhone 4 Black 16GB or 32GB today. Best wishes

It is uncertain whether Orange has received official word from Apple that supplies should not be expected until the end of year or if the carrier is simply basing its claim on Apple’s public disclosure of a launch delay until “later this year”. In spite of much news, many possible white iPhone 4 customers have been holding out hope that the device might make its exterior earlier rather than later.

It is also undecided whether Apple would lurch white iPhone 4 launches as it has with other iPhone models and the iPad. In such a case, the United States would most probably be the first to see a launch, and so it is indefinite whether Orange’s “end of the year” claim would apply to all markets.

Apple has not officially recognized the reason for the white iPhone 4 delays other than quoting manufacturing challenges. Some sources have claimed that Apple is experiencing problems with non-uniform application of the white paint leading to light leakage from the device’s backlight through its back and at seams.

MyRomanceStory iPhone App Released

Posted by admin under iPhone Apps, iPhones on Tuesday Aug 25, 2009

311666Are you a voracious romance fiction novel reader? Well now you can enjoy them anywhere, anytime via an App (iTunes Application)! MyRomanceStory.com announces the release of its library of romance graphic novels on Apple’s iTunes App Store.

“The iPhone opens up an exciting platform for readers to experience our romance novels,” says Pat White, CEO Arrow Publications, LLC, the publisher of MyRomanceStory.com. “The colors are vibrant and the text is easy to read.”

However, getting these stories up was frustrating.

At times, MyRomanceStory editors suffered the same mixed signals as their fictional heroines since they were never sure what Apple wanted. Form emails would indicate that there was a problem with the submission, but wouldn’t specify the text, image, or even the panel. As White explains, “We present stories of couples falling in love. That involves romantic and necessary intimate scenes. We spent a lot of time editing and re-editing. If only we could have spoken to someone at Apple to understand exactly what changes they wanted.”

“We were sensitive to Apple’s range of readers so we submitted edited versions targeting what we thought was a general audience,” Managing Editor, Tom King, adds. “But although we edited out some of the love scenes and text, we still got rejections.”

Once Apple launched its ratings system and got over the initial bottleneck of submissions, Arrow noticed a faster turnaround for its Apps approval.

Romance fans can go to the iTunes App Store and search by keywords “myromancestory” or “romance story” to find the Arrow titles.
