Notify Technology for iPhonesNotify Technology Corporation, today announced that it has enhanced its NotifyLink On-Premise and On-Demand versions to support the Apple iPhone 3GS and all iPhones and iPod touch devices once upgraded with the new iPhone OS 3.0 software. NotifyLink provides users with wireless email and PIM synchronization combined with a robust set of mobile device management functionality.

In addition, NotifyLink supports a variety of mobile devices in addition to the iPhone as well as a variety of email platforms including Novell’s GroupWise, Sun’s Java Communications Suite, Oracle’s OCS and Beehive Suites, Google’s Premiere Apps, Mirapoint’s Messaging Server, Alt-N’s MDaemon, People Cubes’s Meeting Maker, and OpenText’s First Class. Last August Notify launched its initial NotifyLink support for the iPhone and iPod touch which included wireless synchronization of email and PIM (calendar and personal address book), global address lookup, and remote wipe.

Today Notify is announcing that it has enhanced its NotifyLink functionality to support several new security features/settings/options for the iPhone 3GS and iPhone or iPod touch devices using Apple OS 3.0 software such as: password strength, minimum password length, inactivity timeout, and the wipe of an iPhone after a number of failed unlock attempts.

A few other new features supported in the new NotifyLink release are: meeting invitations can now be initiated from the iPhone, contacts can now be sent as email attachments, existing calendar and contacts can either be deleted or will be kept separately from those being synchronized from a person’s business calendar and contacts, and an option to select which folders will automatically synchronize without having to open them.

The NotifyLink 4.6.1 On Premise or On Demand solutions supporting the iPhone 3GS and iPod touch using the new iPhone OS 3.0 software is now available.
